Ted Cruz’s Tweet About Kim Davis, Barack Obama, and the Mayor of San Francisco Puts Her Lawlessness Into Perspective

  • Kim Davis was sent to jail today for not following the law due to her religious convictions
  • Barack Obama and the Mayor of San Francisco were not sent to jail today for not following the law due to their political convictions

Ted Cruz‘s Tweet connected these three facts:

The Tweet then linked to a page on his campaign site that said this:

Today, judicial lawlessness crossed into judicial tyranny. Today, for the first time ever, the government arrested a Christian woman for living according to her faith. This is wrong. This is not America.

I call upon every Believer, every Constitutionalist, every lover of liberty to stand with Kim Davis. Stop the persecution now.

Though his campaign site addresses a religious perspective that his Tweet did not, it was pure genius to connect Obama and SF’s Mayor ignoring immigration law with Davis’ ignoring the gay marriage law.
